INSTRUCTIONS
For Two, Three or Four Players

OBJECT

Each player chooses a color and places all four playing pieces of that color numbered one through four on the matching squares located at the bottom of the board.

The winner is the firt player who moves all four pieces to their matching squares located at the top of the board.

TO START

Each player throws the dice. The player with the highest number goes first. Play then goes to the next player on the left.

PLAY

Each player rolls both dice and must move two playing pieces each turn.

One playing piece must be moved the exact number of one dice and the other piece the exact number of the other dice. At no time may a player move one playing piece the total number of both dice.

When a player has only one playing piece left, they may choose the number of either of the dice and move the piece that number of spaces.

When a player has two playing pieces left, and is able to move both pieces using the number on each of the dice they must do so. The player may not move one piece the number on one of the dice if this prevents moving the other piece the number on the other dice.

DOUBLES

Doubles entitle the player to another throw. No limit is imposed on the number of doubles that may be thrown in one turn.

SAFE SPACES

Anytime a player’s piece lands by exact count on the same space where an opposing player’s piece rests, the opposing player’s piece is returned to its original starting point. However, any piece resting on a space of the same color (for example, a red piece on a red space) is safe and cannot be sent back to the starting point. If at this point, no other play is possible, the player loses his turn.

No two pieces of the same or different color may rest on the same space. The white spaces are not safe for any player.

Passing a piece, but not landing on its space, is permitted and does not send the piece back to its starting point.

MOVEMENT

Pieces may be moved forward and horizontally, but not backward nor diagonally. A piece may be moved in any manner in these two directions as long as it is not moved immediately back to the same space from which it just left.

SNIGGLE ZONE

All pieces must enter the SNIGGLE Zone (area above SNIGGLE Trademark) by proceeding along one of the two paths marked by the small directional indicators. A player may enter the SNIGGLE Zone by either path. Once a piece is moved from the main playing area onto one of the two paths in the SNIGGLE Zone it must continue to move in that direction until it enters its matching square. The playing piece may not go past its matching square and must enter by exact count.

Passing in the SNIGGLE Zone is permitted and pieces must be returned to their original starting point when an opposing player’s piece lands on the space occupied by another player’s piece.

It should be noted that the SNIGGLE Trademark is to be considered as two spaces when movement of pieces is being made into the SNIGGLE Zone.
